Dr. Carrie Lynn Leonard recieved her EdD in Educational Leadership from University of Phoenix. Her research centers around organizational communication. A masters degree was secured from Kent State University in special education with a focus in severe behavior. Carrie Lynn started her educational pursuits at Edinboro University in order to obtain a bachelor's degree in education with a focus in metalsmithing.
Dr. Leonard's educational career began in Cleveland, Ohio. She worked in various schools within the municipal school district. After 17 years of experience, Carrie Lynn decided to expand her work in the special education field. For three years, she work for the West Virginia Department of Education in the Institutional Educational Programs with Juvenile Offenders.
Carrie Lynn Leonard currently works for Morgan County Schools in the office of special education. The second day on the job, Carrie Lynn met Elaine Parke. She recognized a kindred spirit in Elaine. They both share a love for character education, leadership, community service, and children.
Dr. Leonard currently resides with her husband Roy and their two children. At home she enjoys gardening, writing, research, bee-keeping, hobby farming, and various artistic pursuits. However, Carrie Lynn's work with Wild Wonderful People is were she gets to really utilize all of her skills and experiences to be of service to others.
