The kids from Warm Springs Middle School march in the 2016 Apple Butter Parade with the 12 Habits For Wonderful People Banners
In July 2016, Habits For Wonderful People met with other concerned citizens and volunteers who wanted to help the flood victims. A few days later Carol York and Elaine Parke through the American Red Cross went to one of the flooded areas (Lewisburg) to drop off donations that had been gathered from The Granary, local citizens, and churches. The trip was also to do an assessment of most needed supplies for future trips. This was particularly significant for us as our habit for the month of July is “Be Involved”. For some of us, it was as if the universe was in sync with our message.
